A modular system of form, light, and evolving symbolism
Cross
The cross is one of humanity’s most elemental forms. It has long represented faith, salvation, and the human desire to reach beyond ourselves. Our fascination with this symbol has given rise to countless variations.
This piece takes its cues from Gothic architecture, but strips away the ornament to focus on structure. What’s usually elaborate becomes reduced to a system of intersecting forms and clean, geometric lines. It’s both a reference to history and a reflection on how symbols have shifted over time. The result is a piece that balances historical depth with contemporary minimalism, playing with form and meaning.
This is not a static object. The cross serves as a modular structure, meant to grow, shift, and adapt. Individual forms interlock and expand outward, creating a constellation.

Collection I:
Triangle of Sadness
offense, defense & trance
Star
(Offense) — Transforming an object made to take one's breath into something that allows you to take a breath. Inspired by the medieval weapon, a ‘morning star’, it now serves as a seat, or with a glass tablet on top, it becomes a (side) table. Fascinated by darker, more taboo topics, there's something about violence that captivates the human mind. Even though we condemn neither, the shape of an armament has always been aesthetically pleasing. Is it because of its purpose or the fear status it brings with it? For us, deconstructing them into something that should not be feared is a challenge we like to conquer. Made from solid European oak, the body rests on three spikes (legs).

Hedgehog
(Defense) — Transforming an object to keep people out into something that brings people together to dine, celebrate, or debate. The shape is inspired by a Czech military defense obstacle called the ‘Czech hedgehog’. This object’s industrial appearance has always been intriguing; it is perceived as having three legs to stand and three arms to hold.

Pill
(Trance) — The concept revolves around transforming an object that either heals or induces euphoria into one that keeps us grounded. Inspired by the pharmaceutical industry and rave culture, this piece mimics the form of pills; small, minimal, and varied in purpose. In Western culture, we consume these pills without much thought, placing blind trust in doctors and dealers alike, seeking healing or a dopamine rush.
